A softer way to wear ink
Fine line tattoos are a softer way to wear ink. Designed with precision and created using ultra-thin needles, this style focuses on clean, delicate lines that give a refined and modern look. It’s perfect for minimalists or anyone wanting something timeless and understated rather than bold or heavy.
Because fine line work is more gentle on the skin, it often heals lighter and more softly, allowing the design to feel elegant and natural. The subtle detail also makes this style ideal for intricate, meaningful pieces that can age beautifully with the right care from the client and skillful execution from the artist.

More about your artist
Hi! I’m Alexis—but you may know me as Lex. I am a fine line tattoo artist based in Lee’s Summit with a passion for creating soft, meaningful artwork that helps people feel beautiful and confident in their own skin.
Growing up, I was always artistic. I loved painting, drawing, and working with ceramics, and I took as many art classes as I could throughout high school. Creating has always been something that felt natural to me, so building a career around art was something I always knew I wanted to do — I just didn’t realize tattooing would eventually become such a big part of my life.
My journey in the beauty industry actually began with nails. I’ve been doing nails for six years, and that experience helped me build both confidence and precision. Over time, my interest in permanent makeup introduced me to tattooing, and from there I slowly fell in love with the world of fine line tattoos. The delicate detail, the elegance, and the meaning behind each piece made it feel like the perfect fit for the type of art I’ve always loved creating. I officially started tattooing clients in July of 2025, and it quickly became something I felt completely connected to.
My tattoo style is very minimalistic and dainty, with a focus on soft, elegant pieces that flow naturally with the placement on the body. I especially love creating fine line florals and vintage-inspired designs, but what matters most to me is creating something meaningful for each client. I truly believe tattoos should tell a story, which is why I take the time to really listen and understand what each piece means before bringing it to life.
For me, tattooing is about more than just the art — it’s about connection. I love getting to meet new people, hear their stories, and be a small part of their journey. My goal is for every client to leave feeling excited, confident, and proud of the piece they now carry with them. I always try to create an environment that feels fun, comfortable, and safe, where you can relax, listen to good music, and actually enjoy the experience.
I hope to continue growing, eventually opening my own studio and even helping train other artists who are just starting their journey. Creating meaningful art every day is something I’m incredibly grateful for, and I’m so excited to keep growing within the industry.
